Eligibility highlights
- PGT: Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks and B.Ed./integrated B.Ed. as specified. Upper age limit generally 40 years (relaxations per rules).
- TGT: Graduation with required subject combination, B.Ed./equivalent and CTET Paper-II qualification as notified. Upper age limit generally 35 years (relaxations per rules).
- Cut-off date for eligibility: 23 October 2025. For full subject combinations, reservation & age-relaxation details refer to the Information Bulletin.
Exam scheme & pattern
The selection will follow a two-tier pattern for most posts:
- Tier-I: OMR-based (qualifying).
- Tier-II: Objective + descriptive (merit for PGT/TGT based on Tier-II performance only).
Medium: Bilingual (Hindi & English) with regional language components where applicable. Negative marking: +1 for correct, −1/3 for incorrect, 0 for unattempted (MCQs).
Fees
Female / SC / ST / PwBD: Application fee not applicable; Processing fee Rs. 500; Total: Rs. 500.
Others (General / OBC etc.): Application fee Rs. 1500 + Processing fee Rs. 500; Total: Rs. 2000. Online payment via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI (processing charges & GST extra).
How to apply
- Apply online only via the official NESTS EMRS application portal shown in the Information Bulletin.
- Fill Part-A (generic personal details) once and Part-B separately for each post you intend to apply for.
- Pay the applicable fee for each post and submit. Keep the confirmation page/receipt.
- One application per post. Candidates may apply for one PGT subject and one TGT subject (separate fees) if eligible.
- Follow the application/login for admit card, exam city updates and further instructions.
