APPLICATION FEE:
(a) Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.
(b) No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. No “fee exemption” is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
(c) Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained.

Essential Qualification (s):-
A-EDUCATIONAL:- (i) Engineering Degree in Chemical Technology or M.Sc (Analytical Chemistry) or M.Sc (Organic Chemistry) from a recognized university.
B- EXPERIENCE:- Two years’ practical experience in Production or Development or Quality Assurance in the field of Petroleum products / Paints & Chemical products.
Note- The qualification are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
2. Name of Post:-Senior Scientific Officer Grade-II (Metallurgy)
No of Post:- 2(1UR, 1SC)
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
(A) EDUCATIONAL: B.E.(Metallurgy) /B.Tech (Metallurgy) from a recognized University.
(B) EXPERIENCE: Two years practical experience in Production or Development or Quality Assurance in Metallurgical field.
DESIRABLE:
Minimum six months certificate course in German, French, Russian, Japanese or Chinese language from a recognized institute.
NOTE-I: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
NOTE-II: The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, if at any stage of selection the Union Public Service Commission, is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from this community possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them
DUTIES: Preparation of specifications and vetting of documents pertaining to procurement of items/stores. Technical evaluations, codifications, testing, inspection of equipments, systems/sub system pertaining to the relevant discipline and defect reports. Creation of test facilities. Interaction with the Industry and preparation of capacity/capability reports. Technical documentation and Administration of test labs.
Age:- Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ UT Government Servant upto five years as per instructions/order issued by Govt. of India from time to time.
